Maybe you were one of those people who never really believed that a hairdresser’s car be a proper performance machine. That opinion might be about to change. Seen here at V-Max 200, a two-mile drag event held annually in the UK, a TT-RS is seen outrunning some pretty serious machinery, including a Nissan GT-R, a modified Porsche 911 Turbo S and the TT’s big brother, the Audi R8. Now, we don’t know what if any modifications have gone in the TT-Rs, or for that matter, any of the other cars.
And as with any race, quite a bit comes down to the drivers. But it is still pretty impressive to watch.
