Video: Kawasaki ZX-14R Vs. GT-R AMS Alpha 12+ on the Russian Highway
AdvertisementThe new 195hp modified bike takes on 1,000hp Godzilla. The Russian highways are known for some wild moments and this video, recently uploaded by the DragTimes crew, shows one of the most ludicrous races we’ve seen in a while.
We are talking a brand-new 2012 Kawasaki ZX-14R with a modified exhaust system putting out 195 horsepower at the wheels against one of AMS’ incredible Godzillas. The Nissan GT-R has received the Alpha 12+ package with roughly 1,000 horsepower at the wheels on pump gas.
On race fuel, the mighty and highly-modified twin-turbo V6 of the GT-R cranks out a mind-blowing 1,200whp. Running on high-performance Toyo Tires, it looks at ease hitting blistering speeds on the public streets. DragTimes breaks down the contest as follows: the Kawasaki ZX-14R weighs approximately 250kg and the driver is about 85kg.
The Nissan GT-R AMS Alpha 12+ weighs in at 1,740kg along with its 85kg driver and 45kg cameraman (small guy or camerawoman, perhaps?). That equals 582whp per 1 ton for the bike and 534whp per ton for Godzilla. For those who aren’t living in the rest of the world and, 1kg equals 2.2lbs. Or just watch the incredible action in the video below.
