Video: It’s Smart vs. Mustang, and you won’t guess which one wheelstands
AdvertisementThere’s nothing to hint at the fact that the Smart ForTwo lined up next to the late-model Mustang at this drag strip was anything but stock. But no normal Smart Car can do a wheelstand like this one, and no normal Smart Car can embarrass a Mustang quite this badly.
To add insult to injury, the video description reports that the Smart made its run with a Toyota Paseo engine (of all things!) sporting a Sprintex supercharger that reportedly sheared cogs off the blower belt during the insane wheelstand. It barely loses to the Mustang. If the belt had held up, would the Mustang have lost to a Smart Car?
