Boba Motoring is back with another heavily modified Volkswagen Golf I, following the 736 HP model shown in March.

If you thought that Golf I was the most powerful, wait until you hear their latest modified model produces 1,013 HP (745 kW). Dubbed 16Vampir, the Volkswagen Golf Mark I’s 4-cylinder, 1.8-liter 16V engine has received a big Garrett GTX4202R turbo.

Power is transferred to a 4Motion all-wheel drive system through a six-speed DSG gearbox with a custom DSG ECU controller from AdrenalinTuning. Boba Motoring didn’t disclose any performance specs but you can imagine its very fast since it tips the scales at just 900 kg (1,984 lbs). Boba Motoring did reply to someone on YouTube with “0-100 km/h in 2 seconds is slow?” but we’ll have to see it to believe it.
