Video: 1700HP AMS Nissan GT-R hits top speed record @ 382 km/h

This is the fastest a car has ever gone in a standing mile run. Allegedly. AMS Performance knows how to build seriously fast cars.

Last year, its Alpha Omega GT-R topped out at 233 mph on the Texas mile, and now a 1,700 horsepower Godzilla has reached a staggering 237 mph at the Moscow Unlimited 500. Dubbed the GT-R AMS Alpha 12+, the mile run was completed in just over 22.5 seconds, and managed lightning times of 0-62 mph in 2.99 seconds, 0-124 mph in 6.5 seconds and 0-186 mph in 12.37 seconds.

It’s one thing reading these numbers in digital print, it’s a totally different ball game watching the car hits these speeds in rapid time as it tears up the Russian tarmac. So go check it out.
