Video: 4 Supercars Vs. Superbikes Battles

Supercars racing supercars isn’t nearly as fun to watch as supercars racing superbikes.

There’s a decent chance that everyone reading this will never get to race a Ducati while driving a Lamborghini. That – along with a few other things – is one of the harsh realities of life. However, just because you can’t afford a supercar that can smoke a superbike in a race doesn’t mean that you can’t live vicariously through these videos. The videos featured here show some of the fastest cars in the world doing battle with some of the baddest motorcycles ever made. Lovers of all things Italian will dig this race between a Ferrari 458 Italia and a Ducati 1198S. The two face each other on both the drag strip and the track. The Ducati predictably smokes the Ferrari on the straightaway race but on the track things are a lot more competitive.

Autocar took a Nissan GT-R and a Ducati 1098S to the track to see which of the two were faster. The bike’s power-to-weight ratio is almost as good as it gets at 150hp to 396 pounds. Having an almost 1:1 power-to-weight ratio is an advantage in any race, but is it enough to overtake the 473hp GT-R?

The Citroen Survolt and Agni Z2 don’t really do much racing in this video. There’s the occasional moment where one will weave in front of the other but that’s about it. Still, there’s something awesome about watching the speedy car and motorcycle on the same track.

Auto Express put a Lamborghini LP570-4 Superleggera up against an Aprilia RSV4 Superbike to see which one was faster on the track. Despite what you may think the two are evenly matched and the race is actually fun to watch.
