Video: A Night of Mexican Street Racing
AdvertisementWhy bother racing in the US where there are speed cameras nearly everywhere, when we have Mexico? Most people go to Mexico for the resorts, beaches and other festivities.
Others prefer to use that country’s highways for racing some wicked fast cars. Like this trio of speed freaks who went south of the border with three fun machines: a Whipple powered Ford SVT Lightning and two cammed Pontiac Firebirds, a Firehawk and a Trans Am. The action looks even cooler in the evening thanks to the night vision. But if a stunt like this was done anywhere in the US, it’s all but guaranteed the cops would put an end to it really fast.
After all, Mexico’s main attractions is its overall lack of highway law enforcement and the absence of speed cameras.
