AdvertisementIt’s American muscle versus German muscle, sort of. Muscle cars are much more loved in Europe than people often realize. Higher prices, higher gas prices, and much, much higher insurance prices mean that they don’t sell nearly as many over there, but there are still plenty of fans of a big V8 across the pond.
At drag racing events like the one in this video from Germany, it’s perfectly natural to see some American muscle. This time it’s a Camaro SS, up against the camera car, a C63 AMG.
Those 63-badged AMG’s are about the closest thing that Germany has to a muscle car of their own, so this race makes a lot of sense, even if the vast price difference makes it a bit uneven.
