Video: Modified Ford GT Vs. modified Nissan GT-R

Two incredible (and modified) supercars from mainstream automakers go head-to-head on the drag strip to find out which is fastest.

Only a little over 4,000 Ford GT’s were built between 2005 and 2006, making it one of the most sought-after and collectible modern supercars. Nissan’s famed GT-R, unveiled in late 2007, is still being produced, but seeing one on the street is still a rare treat. Put the two of them together on a drag strip and you’ve got one very interesting drag race. In this week’s edition of Drag Race Tuesdays, we’re treated to a 700-horsepower Ford GT tuned by Heffner Performance take on a similarly modified GT-R. Each car has its own devoted group of followers but at the end of the day, there’s only one winner.

So which is it? The retro tribute to one of the all-time Le Mans greats or the electronic supercar-killer?
