Video: Nissan GT-R races Fighter Jet

The latest iteration of the Nissan GT-R is powered by a 3.8-liter V6 good for 545 hp and 463 lb-ft of torque that propels the supercar-killer from 0-60 mph in 2.7 secs.

In other words, it can destroy pretty much anything on the road, so Nissan apparently thought it was time to pit it against another kind of vehicle altogether. Enter the Hawker Hunter, a fighter jet packing a Rolls-Royce jet engine with around 22,000 horsepower and a 715-mph top speed.

Two met up on a runway in Switzerland for a little showdown.
