Video: Really? This Mustang has a Mitsubishi engine

At least the engine produces upwards of 950 horsepower. From the outside it may look like a drag strip modified fox body Mustang.

That’s because it is, with one vital exception: it doesn’t have a stock Ford engine. Instead of having, say, a 5.0-liter V8, this Mustang is powered by an also highly modified Mitsubishi turbo-four engine. But don’t think for a moment this thing is anything less than impressive.

It dyno’d at 950 horsepower. Tipping the scales at just 2,650 lbs, it was built by CDub Racing from Louisville, Kentucky.
