It isn’t every day that some of the world’s best hot hatches are gathered on one drag strip to see which is fastest in a quarter-mile shootout. But South Africa’s CarMag has done just that. The publication has collected five of the best hot hatches for a little competition to see which is the fastest (and slowest) in a race that will surely satisfy many fans. The competitors today include the BMW M135i, Opel Astra OPC, Renault Megane RS, Volkswagen GTI and the Ford Focus ST.
Each car is worthy in its right as a fun-to-drive hot hatch, but there can be only one winner here today. Watch the video to see which of these respected machines takes home the gold.
