Video: Watch an 800 hp home-brewed Juke-R tackle the ‘Ring in the wet

Leave it to a Russian company Shpilli Villi Engineering to produce something even less sensible than the factory Juke-R. It has the heart of a Nissan GT-R uprated to a claimed 800 hp, with a 200 hp-shot of NOS to boot.

A few reminders: the stock Juke RS has a 99.6 inch wheelbase and 215 hp. It’s tiny. Cramming a GT-R drivetrain into such a dinky CUV is already half-mental. Nissan was only ballsy enough to give the real Juke-R a mere 545 hp. The wheelbase and the power on tap mean that, on a wet Nordschleife, the Russian super-Juke is a bit of a handful.
