Video: Watch this 1900-hp Ford GT try its best to wreck a dyno
AdvertisementIt’s a single Ford GT with the equivalent of 3.5 other GTs stuffed in the engine bay.
And the dyno, tough as nails, isn’t having any of it. But this is a wonderful sort of unhinged. M2K Motorsports out of Texas has boosted a Ford GT to a mental 1900 hp, allowing it to top 273 mph at the Texas Mile in 2013. But in this video, it’s just thrashing a dyno. And it sounds absurd.
This is a video of a similar car’s Texas Mile run of 278 mph just over a year ago.
Keep in mind, the original GT made right around 550 hp when new. The car on the dyno packs the power of roughly 3.5 of them into a single chassis.
