This old fox body Mustang could have easily been sent to the junkyard but instead was given an extended life as a drag racer. And now, maybe even an airplane. With more than 2,000 horsepower on tap plus a nitrous boost, this old Stang nearly took flight while drag racing in Georgia just a few days ago.
Nobody was hurt, but the car suffered damage as a result of acting like an airplane.
No matter, its owner plans to fix it up and get back to it. Maybe next time just watch the nitrous. Then again, don’t. Just don’t. We want to see this Mustang make a second attempt at going airborne.
