The original Willys Jeep was the military mass transportation replacement for the horse. So don’t feel like you’re alone in assuming that an old Jeep can’t hack it when pitted against a ZR1 in a head-to-head matchup. But it’s a serious game changer when said Jeep has been equipped with a serious overdose of nitrous oxide. Of course a nitrous boost alone isn’t enough to outperform a ZR1.
The Jeep was also tuned to produce 300 horsepower thanks to a V8. And it weighs less than 1,900 lbs. With that added nitrous boost, output is around 500 hp. This thing could literally kill someone.
