Video: Worst Ferrari California test drive ever!

In the pantheon of Ferraris, the California has to be the most user-friendly, easy-to-drive car to ever roll out of Maranello.

There’s a reason they sold 10,000 of them. You can see out of it. The transmission is all but idiot-proof. The seating position is comfortable. A spinner knob wouldn’t seem out of place on the steering wheel. The California is the opposite of intimidating. It’s like an Italian Solara that makes loin-stirring Ferrari V8 noises.

That said, this currently viral test-drive video is a reminder that no matter how user-accessible Ferrari may make a car, when the going gets stupid, the stupid shall be punished:

Note that the dealership went to the trouble of putting protective seat covers on. Methinks the condition of the seat leather is the least of everyone’s problems here …
