VW Golf VII GTI Dark Edition by ABT
AdvertisementThis is the “Dark Edition” of the seventh-gen Golf GTI by ABT. It wears a black paint job with red accents and sits on 20-inch alloy wheels combined with 235/30 R20 high-performance tires. ABT chose to apply a dark finish on the headlights, taillights and mirror caps, while other exterior changes include redesigned side skirts, front spoiler and skirt, trunk lid attachment and a rear skirt featuring a quad black chrome exhaust arrangement. The most important update can be found under the hood where the four-cylinder, 2.0-liter turbocharged engine has been upgraded to develop 300 HP (221 kW), up from the stock 230 HP (169 kW). As a result of the additional power, the Golf VII GTI now runs the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in 5.8 seconds which makes it 0.6s quicker than the Golf VII GTI Performance.
