Modifications begin with an ECU upgrade, re-fitted turbochargers and piping, custom injection nozzles, TFSI tuning, and aftermarket connecting rods. VW Golf R has over 200 horsepower more than the stock model, the car tuners at Wimmer hooked it up with a new suspension kit and high performance brakes to handle the power.
